“Why Can’t Life Be Like Football?”

With one and three-fourths graduate degrees between us, Diana and I spend our Saturday night reliving 7th and 8th grade. Stemming from a late night fan girl sesh, she comes bearing $3.99 gifts – all of the Sweet Valley High books she can find in her house.

My cup runneth over.

“What are chinos?” Diana asks. “Everyone is wearing chinos in this book.” Instead, I wonder if one, Conner McDermott – the original Edward Cullen (minus the sparkly shit), is real. Where can I find this fine specimen?

He’s so… Cool.

Girlish sighs over kisses that make you leave earth. Californian twins with perfectly identical faces. Drama in the hallways. Egg Nog with milk. Sweatshirts. These are a few of our favorite things.

khakis or chinos

What do these pants say about me? Back off–this is my trust fund.
